Monday 29th April

At VSFB it was a sunny but very windy day.

The team continued with preparations. One of there was to have Emergency Life Support Apparatus (ELSA) training.

Another activity was the cleaning of the spacecraft

Lunch, the food trucks continue

Finally as this marked the end of CPR activities some of the the team went for a meal together.

Sunday 28th April

This was a well earned rest day for the team.

Some took the opportunity to form the Earthcare Skydiving team.

Too late to back out now😂

And in flight

And safely down

Others took in the amazing views from a lower perspective

Thursday 25th April

A sunny but windy day at VSFB.

The preparations on the satellite are going well, many activities were going on in parallel, and with the CPR reflector open the satellite looks really impressive.

The electrical team were performing H5 checks which are to ensure that when the satellite is mated on the launcher the team can communicate with it through various harnesses in the launch pad and launcher.

The propulsion team from Stevenage had arrived and were beginning preparations for the fueling, and finally gas sample measurements were taken through some of the launcher purge lines to ensure they were clean enough not to contaminate the instruments during the launch phase.

Sunday 21st April

This was a day off for the whole team and the weather was great. I say day off because although a rest day the team did a very diverse set of activities, most not resting.

Sky Diving

Surfing

Visiting the coast

Hiking

The hiking set had a nice view of Morro bay from the top of Hazard Peak.
